Most everything is made of plastic if not packaged in it. People use it morning, noon, and night. Our clothing, home decor, kitchenware, and cars are made of plastic. When we use and modify products--they can shed micro- and nanoplastics that get released into the environment. The scale of 8 billion people releasing micro- and nanoplastics is not sustainable.
